What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathic medicine is a wonderful, non invasive way to treat illness and disease.  Homeopathic medicine treats people with symptoms that are making their life uncomfortable.   Samuel Hahnemann developed the discipline more than 200 years ago, but the concept of treating ‘like with like’ dates way back long before recorded history.

Homeopathy stimulates the body to heal . A medicinal substance in very tiny doses is used to gently trigger the body’s repair response.  Homeopathic medicines are only used for as long as symptoms continue. 

A homeopath interviews the patient to find out all about the symptoms the patient is experiencing.  This interview is very thorough as a lot of information is needed regarding the patients daily habits, likes, dislikes, pains and problems.   Homeopaths have a lot of remedies to consider and will match a remedy to the symptoms of the patient.
