After receiving her Diploma in Veterinary Homeopathy, Darla initially focused solely upon wellness in animals. She cared for her own large group of cats and dogs, as well as provided consultations to caregivers and rescuers for the benefit of other animals. Over the years, Darla has branched out to include private consultations for people. She has a small practice called HolistiCARE that incorporates Homeopathy with Flower Essences, Reiki and Ayurveda. Darla also offers group classes; she is dedicated to sharing information on holistic self-care with as many people as possible. She strongly believes in returning the inner power--empowerment--of wellness to each individual, therefore enabling each person to become confident in her/his own ability to self-heal, plus provide care for their loved ones, using a variety of energy-work methods. As part of that passion for education, Darla wrote a children's book titled "Rainbow Bubbles & Whirling Lights" that addresses learning about energy bodies and the Chakras.
