This course provides general training in modern nutritional therapy, recognizing it as complementary to and in many respects an intrinsic part of, all complementary therapies. It also provides general training in herbal medicines which, like nutritional supplements, are now widely available along with homeopathic medicines. The course consists of 10 lessons and one proctored examination and includes all of the information in Introduction to Nutrition (NUT101).

The Macronutrients; Digestion and Gastrointestinal Disorders; Micronutrients; Vitamins, Minerals and the Trace Elements; Principles of Healthy Eating; Environmental Toxins and the Food Chain; Diet and Disease; Diet, Inflammation and Aging; Herbal Medicine.
