Notes:

This course covers conception to post-partum, including the homeopathic approach to pregnancy, childbirth and care of the newborn. The course consists of five lessons and one proctored examination. It is the first of the three modules which make up the Comprehensive Studies in Women’s Health and Homeopathy Course (HW202).

Tuition for this course may be credited toward purchase of the Comprehensive Studies in Women’s Health and Homeopathy course (HW202) should the student wish to continue on after this first module has been completed.

Syllabus:

‘A Healthy Pregnancy’ includes nutrition, tissue salt program and homeopathic remedies for morning sickness. ‘Sustaining the Pregnancy’ includes miscarriage or termination if necessary. ‘Second and Third Trimester’ includes varicosity, constipation and backache, pre-eclampsia, false and premature labor. ‘Birthing the Baby’ includes preparing for labor, Cesarean birth, the basic birthing kit and stages of labor. ‘The Postpartum’ includes breastfeeding, postnatal depression and renewal of cycles. ‘The Newborn’ includes asphyxiation, birth trauma, vomiting and colic.
