Notes:

This is not a course in dietary nutrition. Clinical Nutrition relies on clinical test results to determine nutrition needs based on the patient’s pathology. Two areas are addressed: the nutrients needed to help the patient return to full function and the nutrients needed to repair the damaged tissue. This course is comprehensive, yet it is taken step by step. It reminds the student of the pathways and the metabolites needed for full function as well as discusses certain deficiency states and how they can be addressed. This course consists of 12 modules and two proctored examinations.

The course was created in collaboration with The American Council of Applied Clinical Nutrition.
